i disagree.. the first thing they will do in case of an accident is stage a road block, in case of a hospital death is ransacking the entire hospital. murders due to party-loyalties are way way too common.. i never saw politics getting so bloody day in and each single day out till i came to bengal..

but then, the state has it’s own ancient charm. the eccentricities slowly grow on you..

My parents stayed in Kolkatta last year for a few months for Dad’s work and my Mom came back telling me stories about how things are so ancient….like nothing has changed. I recalled how my Allahabad trip felt, everything was just the same, worser in fact. But more is expected from a metro city….

Thanks for sharing this and hope this awakens the Bengali in each Indian :)

That is Schrodinger’s equation, isn’t it? So why does your life such because of it? Do they make you work on solving it using an abacus?
